Accredited institutions must use an agreed form of wording to describe their accreditation (unless any variation has been agreed with the Association). This form of wording is as follows:

[Institution name] is an accredited member of the Anglican Association of Colleges and Schools. Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of the Anglican Association of Colleges and Schools serves as a means of peer recognition among institutions providing Christian education within the United States and abroad, and confirms that an institution has met the Commission’s standards for effective operation.

Credit transfer

It is a requirement of Commission-accredited institutions and members of the Association that they accept credit transfer from other Commission-accredited institutions. In respect of institutions not accredited by the Commission it is for them to determine which credits they will accept according to their own institutional policy. The Commission makes no guarantees concerning the acceptance of credits by non-members of the Association.
