The Gran Commenda di Santi Giovanni e Lazzaro di Gerusalemme is based in Italy under the protection of H.I.R.H. Prince don Ezra Annibale Foscari Widmann Rezzonico, Head of the Imperial House of Leopardi of Constantinople, and with the Grand Prior H.E. Arconte Antonino Iuculano. The Protectorate has entered into mutual agreements of full partnership, friendship, collaboration, accreditation and recognition with a number of the dependent institutions of the Abbey-Principality.

Agreement with the Università Popolare e della Terza Età “Mogadiscio”, Rome, Italy
The Università Popolare e della Terza Età “Mogadiscio” is a private university in Rome, Italy, registered with the government authorities in December 2025. It is in the Italian tradition of “popular universities” and “universities of the third age”, a special category of universities in Italy that are concerned with instruction and research pursued purely for academic, religious, social and cultural benefit.
The University has issued a Diploma of Friendship, Recognition, Twinning, Accreditation and Partnership to the Abbey-Principality of San Luigi, in perpetuity.

A number of organizations under the auspices of the Abbey-Principality of San Luigi have received Diplomas of Cultural Merits from the publishing houses Aracne Editrice, La Bussola Edizioni and Aracne TV, based in Rome, Italy, and their founder Prof. Dr Gioacchino Onorati. A mutual relationship of recognition exists with these bodies.

Charter to the Ancient Apostolic Catholic Church
The Prince-Abbot of San Luigi in his capacity as Catholicos of the West has issued a Charter upon the petition of the Ancient Apostolic Catholic Church under the leadership of Primate and Presiding Archbishop Felix Gibbins OSB Cam. The Charter establishes the AACC as a canonically valid denomination. The AACC is fully autonomous and under the terms of the Charter has been released from the jurisdiction of the Catholicate of the West. We wish all who are part of this new church every blessing as it commences ministry.
Partnerships with the Global Health Service, Sofia, Bulgaria
The Abbey-Principality of San Luigi is pleased to announce new partnerships with the Global Health Service. The Global Health Service is established as a nonprofit humanitarian provider in Sofia, Bulgaria, under the presidency of Professor Pasquale Sorrentino.
