Investiture of the San Luigi Orders

An investiture and private dinner of the San Luigi Orders took place on Thursday 5 December in the historic setting of the Royal Over-Seas League, St James’s, London.

The purpose of the investiture was to promote Mgr. James Phillips, Vicar General of the Order of Antioch and Vice-Chancellor of the San Luigi Orders to the rank of Knight Commander in the Order of the Lion and the Black Cross.

At the subsequent dinner for Mgr. Phillips and his guests, the Prince-Abbot gave an address outlining the history, purpose and future strategic plans of the San Luigi Orders, and proposed the toasts to the High Protectors and to the Royal Patron.
